- To be eligible for 60,000 bonus Qantas Points, you must apply for a Qantas Premier credit card by 31 August 2017 and be approved, then spend $3,000 or more on eligible purchases on your card within 90 days of card approval. Although the Mastercard Acceptance Mark may be displayed, Qantas Premier credit card may not operate in some countries and geographical regions, due to restrictions. Currently Qantas Premier credit card cannot be used in the following countries and geographical regions due to sanctions that are currently in place: Crimea, Iran, North Korea, Sudan and Syria. If you attempt to withdraw cash from an ATM or use your Card at merchants in any of these countries and geographical regions, your request will be declined. If you then make a purchase you are charged interest. You will then need to pay your balance off in full for 2 consecutive months for the maximum 55 days interest free period to take effect. No interest free period is available on Cash Advances or Balance Transfers.
